The Enterprise Training Programme is funded by New Zealand Trade and Enterprise and delivered
by specialist training providers throughout New Zealand.
It is aimed at motivated owners and managers with the potential to grow.
You need to be prepared to commit time and energy to the programme so the
particular development needs of your business are met. In return, you will find
the courses increase your motivation, boost your confidence and build your
knowledge of specific areas of business management.

|
Who is eligible?
The Enterprise Training Programme is open to the owners and managers of
small businesses employing fewer than 50 full-time* staff. Numbers on courses
are limited which means selection criteria may apply to ensure the training
is directed towards businesses that will get the most out of it. If a course is not
suitable for your needs, your local training provider may direct you towards other
options for training and support.
(*Full-time = 30 hours or more per week)
What is the cost?
The Enterprise Training Programme is fully funded by New Zealand
Trade and Enterprise, so there is no cost to participants. Your
investment is your time, effort and commitment.
How do I take part?
-
Register your interest in the Enterprise Training Programme by completing the registration form
and sending
it to Empower Team limited. They will then contact you to discuss next steps,
including setting up a meeting with a business assessor.
-
Complete the core capability assessment on the New Zealand Business Assessment website
at www.businessassessment.co.nz.
You will need to give your business assessor access to your assessment so they have background on your business
to prepare for their meeting with you.
Your assessment is held securely and should take about 30 minutes to complete.
|
- Meet with your business assessor for a one-on-one session to
identify and discuss opportunities to further develop your business.
